Sylvette was born and grew up in the Philippines as a child, later relocating to the US, where she spent her formative years. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing in Pensacola, Florida, and has been a nurse for 13 years. Sylvette has worked in various hospitals, including step-down units, telemetry, medical-surgical, stroke, and palliative care. In the past, she has been involved in medical mission trips to third-world countries, offering her skills and care to underprivileged populations.

With a desire to work in holistic care full-time, Sylvette is currently employed at Kona Community Hospital, where she has dedicated almost 8 years of service. Having moved to Hawaii in 2016, she and her wonderful husband of 10 years welcomed their firstborn son just a year ago. Sylvette's life purpose revolves around loving God, her family, and friends, as well as living a healthy life and sharing that knowledge with others. She sees Kona Integrative Health as a significant stepping stone in her journey.

In her free time, Sylvette enjoys CrossFit, hiking, yoga, and is actively pursuing a hunting license. She immerses herself in nature, conducts research on healthy habits, and cherishes moments spent with her family. Sylvette harbors a deep passion for travel, aiming to embark on one domestic and one international trip annually with her husband.
