CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin
What are CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin and how do they work?
CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin are both peptides that work together to stimulate the release of growth hormone (GH) in the body. Let’s take a closer look at how they work:
CJC-1295: CJC-1295 is a synthetic peptide known as a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog. It works by binding to the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) in the pituitary gland. Once bound, it stimulates the pituitary gland to release and produce more endogenous growth hormone.
Ipamorelin: Ipamorelin is a peptide known as a growth hormone secretagogue. It functions by binding to specific receptors on the surface of cells in the pituitary gland called ghrelin receptors. This interaction prompts the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland.
When used together, CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin have a synergistic effect, amplifying the release of growth hormone in the body. CJC-1295 enhances the pulsatile release of growth hormone by extending its half-life, meaning it remains active in the body for a longer duration. This extended release leads to a more sustained elevation of growth hormone levels. On the other hand, Ipamorelin directly stimulates the release of growth hormone in a pulsatile manner, further complementing the effects of CJC-1295.
